Agrozee Fresh Foodsprivate Limited is a bit different because we are based in a flat in Mira Road East. It’s room A/406 in Anjani Paradise. It might seem strange to have a food company in an apartment complex on Mira Bhayander Road, but that’s how we started things. Thane is a crowded place, and we are right in the middle of all that noise and traffic every day. We don’t have a big warehouse here; this is just where we handle the orders and the phone calls. The apartment is full of papers and files about different suppliers and delivery routes. It’s a small team, mostly just a couple of us sitting at desks in the living room area. We spend all day on our mobiles talking to farmers and then talking to shops that need fresh produce. It gets pretty hectic when a big shipment is coming through the city. Outside, the traffic on the road never seems to stop, and there’s always the sound of horns and people shouting. We are just trying to bring fresh stuff into the city from the farms without it getting spoiled. It’s a lot of coordination and late-night emails to keep everything on track. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist at the front. If you come by, you’ll probably see us drinking tea and staring at spreadsheets. It’s just a practical way to run things.
