Dream Land Marble

Our place is right on Kozhikode Road in Mananthavady. If you’re driving through, you’ve probably seen the slabs lined up outside. Dream Land Marble isn't a massive showroom, it’s more of a practical spot for folks in the area who are building or fixing up their homes. We get all kinds of people coming in, from neighbors just looking for a small piece of marble for a shelf to contractors needing enough for a whole floor. Mananthavady gets a lot of rain, so keeping the yard tidy is a bit of a struggle sometimes, but we manage. We’ve got different types of marble and some granite too, stacked up so you can see the grain and the patterns. It’s funny how people can spend hours looking at two slabs that look exactly the same to me, but I guess that’s how it goes when it’s for your own house. We don't have a lot of staff, so usually, it’s just one of us helping out, showing what’s arrived recently. We try to keep things simple. If a piece has a crack, we tell you. No point in hiding it because it just causes trouble later. The traffic on Kozhikode Road can be a bit much during the day, making it hard to back the trucks in, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it. It’s just a normal local business trying to keep the doors open and the customers satisfied with what they buy.
