Computer Solutions

We are based in Thalassery and mostly spend our time fixing laptops and desktops that have stopped working. It is a small shop, and usually, there are parts and wires all over the workbench. People bring in machines that won’t turn on or have some kind of virus, and we just take them apart to see what is wrong. It can be slow work sometimes, especially when we are waiting for a specific spare part to arrive from the city. We’ve been in Thalassery for a long time now. Most of our customers are just local people or students from around here who need their computers for school. We don't really have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle hardware. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, but we have the tools we need. We get a lot of questions about which software is good or how to make an old machine run faster. We just tell it like it is. If a computer is too old to fix, we say so. There’s no point in spending money on something that won’t last. Most days are spent hunched over a screen or a motherboard. It gets a bit dusty with all the fans we have to clean out. We like the work though. It keeps us busy and it’s good to be part of the town's local business scene.
