It is a pretty quiet neighborhood, which suits us just fine. Being near the Mariamman Kovil means it is very peaceful most mornings, except during festival times when the whole street comes alive with people. Our office is a small building that we have made our own over the years. It is not fancy, just some desks, chairs, and a lot of computers. We mostly work on systems and technical setups for our clients. The team is mostly local, and we all know each other pretty well. There is no pretending to be something we are not here. We do not wear suits or have big boardrooms for meetings. Usually, we just sit around a big table if we need to talk something through. Melthirukanji is a nice place to work because it does not feel like the middle of a frantic city. We can actually focus on the details of our work. We have got a small porch where we sit sometimes to take a break and get some air. It is just a normal business run by people who live nearby.
