This is where we work in Mangalagiri. It’s a junior college, so we mostly see students who are finishing their higher secondary years. Being in Guntur, it gets pretty warm during the summer months. The building isn't anything massive, but it serves its purpose for the classes we hold. Most of our students come from nearby areas, arriving on bikes or public transport. We spend most of the day dealing with attendance sheets and making sure the classrooms are ready for the next lecture. There's always someone asking about exam schedules or looking for a misplaced textbook. It can get a bit hectic during admission season, but otherwise, it's just a steady flow of teenagers going in and out. The staff room is usually full of papers and half-empty tea cups. We don't have a big cafeteria or anything, just a few spots where kids sit and eat their lunch. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the students know what they need for their tests. You'll find us right here on the main stretch in Mangalagiri. It’s not a fancy corporate setup, just a local college where people come to get their certificates and move on to the next thing in life. We keep the gates open and try to stay on top of the paperwork, which never seems to end. It's just a job.
