S. S. Computer Gallery

S. S. Computer Gallery is located on NH-108 in Uttarkashi. Being up here in Uttaranchal, things are a bit different than in the big cities. We deal with computers and all the accessories that go with them. The shop is on the main highway so it is easy enough for people to find us when they are traveling through or coming from nearby villages. We have been here for some time now. The gallery is filled with monitors, keyboards, and cables that people might need. It isn't a high-end boutique. It’s a place where you can find a replacement mouse or get your laptop looked at if it’s acting up. We spend our days answering questions about software and trying to fix hardware that has seen better days. The air is thinner up here but the tech problems are the same as anywhere else. We see a lot of dust getting into the fans so we do a lot of cleaning. We are just local folks working with what we have. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy ads. We just open the doors in the morning and see who needs help. It’s a quiet life for the most part unless a lot of things break at once. We just keep our shelves stocked and our tools ready for the next person who walks in from the road.
