Modern Public School

We are located out in Balpur, which is part of the Surat area. The school is right there in the village, so it’s a very local kind of place. Most of the kids walk here from their homes nearby. It’s a simple building, nothing too big or impressive to look at. We have the classrooms set up with basic benches and chalkboards. It gets quite hot here in the afternoons, so the fans are always going. We don't have a lot of the fancy things that schools in the center of Surat might have, but we manage just fine. There is a small ground where the children play during their breaks, and it gets pretty dusty when they are all running around. The teachers here are just regular people from the community who want to see the kids do okay. We follow the standard lessons and try to keep things as organized as possible. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but everyone knows the way. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed most of the time, except when there are big tests coming up. We’ve been in Balpur for a while now, and the school has become a staple of the neighborhood. It’s just a place where children come to learn their basics and spend their day. Nothing more and nothing less than that.
