Fulcrum Point

We are located right in the village area of Pitambarchak. If you know the Purba Midnapur district, you know it gets quite dusty around here during the dry season. We’ve been at this post for a long time now. Most people just walk by and wave. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that. It is just a small place where we handle our daily business. We open up early, usually when the sun is just coming up over the fields. The air is still cool then. By midday, it gets pretty hot and we usually have the fans going full blast. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us who grew up around here. We know the neighbors and we know the roads. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. That’s just how things go in this part of the world. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of our work is done by hand or just by talking to people face to face. It’s a simple way of doing things but it works for us. We’ve seen the village change a little bit over the years, but the way we run Fulcrum Point stays mostly the same. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing every day until it’s time to lock up and head home.
