Assembly Of God Church School

In the middle of Haldia Township, you will find the Assembly Of God Church School. Haldia is a quiet town mostly known for the port and the big factories, and the township is where most of the people live. Our school is a central part of that small community. The building is surrounded by a bit of greenery, which is nice because it gets very humid here. We have wide corridors and rooms that stay relatively cool even in the heat of the summer. The school has a connection to the church, but most of our day is just spent on regular lessons. The kids come from the nearby quarters, so many of them walk or cycle to the gate. It is a safe and calm environment for them. We have a hall where we gather for morning prayers and general announcements. The benches are a bit old and have some carvings on them from students who were here years ago. We do not have a massive budget for modern art, so we just decorate the walls with the kids' science projects. The teachers are mostly locals who have lived in the township for a long time. They know the parents and the grandparents of the students. It is a tight-knit place. On rainy days, the ground gets a bit muddy, but we just go about our business and teach the subjects.
