Zilla Public School

Zilla Public School is located right in Ward No 11 in Tamluk. This part of Midnapore is always moving, and we are right in the thick of it. We have been sitting here for quite a long time now. The building is an old one, with those high ceilings and thick walls that stay cool even when the sun is beating down on the streets outside. We aren't trying to be fancy or anything. Most of the kids come from the nearby houses and their parents went to school here too. It’s just a normal place with wooden desks that have names scratched into them from years ago. The teachers come in every morning, park their cycles, and get right to work. We have a small field in the back where the grass grows a bit too long during the monsoon season. We don't have a big marketing budget or a shiny website. People know where we are because they walk past us every day to get to the market. There is a tea stall right near the gate where the parents wait. It’s a busy, noisy, and sometimes messy place, but it works for us. We just keep the routine going day after day. It’s about the books, the bells, and making sure everyone gets home safe when the day is done. That is just how life is here at our school in Tamluk.
