Clothing Craft

We have our workspace on Perumal Kovil Street in Allapakkam. The address is 76/198. It is a place filled with different kinds of fabric and rolls of thread. We have got sewing machines lined up and people working on them throughout the whole day. Clothing Craft is really just about making clothes that people can actually wear. We handle many different types of fabrics. Sometimes it is just basic cotton, and sometimes it is something else entirely. The street can be quite busy with people going to the temple that is nearby. We get a lot of natural light in the morning which really helps with the fine stitching work. It is not a massive factory, just a small unit where we put everything together. We have scraps of cloth everywhere. We try to keep it organized but when you are busy, things always get a bit messy on the floor. We have been in Allapakkam for a long time. People around here know where to find us if they need something made or if they need a repair. We do not do big fashion shows or anything like that. We just make the garments, check the buttons, and pack them up. It is a lot of sitting and focusing on the details of the seams and the patterns. We like the work though. It is what we know how to do best. We just keep the machines running.
