Skm Exports is tucked away at No.46, Sunsu Avenu, in Parvathy Nagar. We’re in the Old Perungalathur area, which has its own pace of life. Working in exports from a residential-style street like Sunsu Avenue means we have to be organized. We don't have a massive warehouse with hundreds of workers. Instead, it’s a small, dedicated setup where we handle everything personally. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of what comes in and making sure it’s ready to go out. It gets a bit cramped sometimes when a lot of stock arrives at once, but we’ve learned how to stack things to make room. The neighbors know us, and we try not to block the road too much when the tempo comes by. We aren't interested in sounding like a big city company. We’re just local people doing a job we understand. Some days the paperwork is a mountain, and other days we’re just waiting for the next shipment to arrive. It’s a mix of boredom and high stress, depending on the deadline. We’ve been here in Old Perungalathur long enough to know the shortcuts and the best places to get a quick snack while we work. It’s a practical business run by people who actually live around here. We just take it one day at a time and keep our promises because that is what matters.
