We have been working from this office for a bit now, focusing on various interior projects across the city. The building is part of a larger residential complex, so it feels very quiet and safe compared to being right on a main commercial highway. Our workspace is pretty simple. We have our computers set up and a table where we can spread out samples of fabrics, woods, and paints. It often looks like a bit of a mess with all those samples everywhere, but it’s a creative kind of mess. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees; we are just a small group of people who enjoy figuring out how to make an interior space look right. Most of our days involve a lot of tea and a lot of debating about where a light fixture should go or which shade of paint is best for a wall. We don't have a fancy lobby or a bunch of awards on the wall. We just focus on the drawings and making sure the contractors know what they are doing. It’s a steady, quiet life here in Nolambur and it suits the way we work.
