You can find us at No 401 in Panneer Nagar, on Thiruvalluvar Salai in Mogappair West. Aarthi Interiors is basically us helping people figure out how to make their houses look better from the inside. We do a lot of woodwork, like making cupboards, kitchen cabinets, and TV units. It’s not a job where we sit behind a desk all day. Usually, we are out at someone’s house taking measurements with a tape or back at the shop cutting plywood. There’s always sawdust on our clothes and the smell of wood glue in the air. The neighborhood here in Mogappair is mostly residential, so we are often working just a few streets away. We don’t have a big fancy showroom with expensive lighting. Instead, we show people photos of work we’ve actually done in other homes. Sometimes a piece of wood has a knot we didn't see, or a customer changes their mind about a color halfway through, and we have to fix it. It’s a lot of hands-on work and patience. We talk to people about what they want for their bedrooms or kitchens and try to make it work within their space. It’s a simple process of building and installing. We aren’t interior decorators who use big words; we’re just folks who know how to work with wood and make things fit properly in a room.
