My name is Ameer Musthafa and I run things here at No 5/54 A on Ppd Road. We are down on 4th Street in Thangal, which is a part of Thiruvottiyur that we’ve known all our lives. This isn't a big corporation or a franchise. It is just me and a few others working out of this space. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a big storefront with neon lights to attract people. It’s more of a traditional setup where we handle everything personally. Most of our work comes from people in the neighborhood who know where to find us. We spend a lot of time making sure every order is handled properly because our own name is on it. Sometimes the streets in Thangal get a bit crowded with carts and bikes but we know the shortcuts to get things delivered. We don't use any complicated business words or marketing talk because we don't really need them. We just provide a service and try to be fair about it to everyone who comes by. Every day is a bit different depending on who calls us up or what they need. It can be tiring work especially when the weather is hot but we have been doing this long enough that it’s just our routine now. We like being in this part of Thiruvottiyur because everyone knows everyone else. It’s a simple life and we are happy to keep things that way.
