Lucky Poultry Farms

Lucky Poultry Farms is out in Venkepally Village, which is part of the Nuthankal Mandal in Suryapet District. We are at Sfno 56. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but that is better for the birds anyway. We have a 3Hp power connection that keeps everything running, from the lights to the water pumps. Raising chickens is a full-time job that never really stops. You have to check on them early in the morning and late at night. The smell is something you get used to after a few days, though visitors might find it a bit much. We have several long sheds where the birds stay. Keeping them fed and making sure they have clean water is the main thing we do every single day. Sometimes the heat in Telangana is too much, so we have to be careful they do not get too stressed. It is a lot of walking back and forth between the sheds and the storage room where we keep the feed. We do not have a website or anything like that. People who need eggs or chickens usually just know where to find us in Venkepally. It is a quiet village life for the most part, except for the noise from the farm. We just focus on keeping the animals healthy and the business moving. It is a lot of manual labor, cleaning, and monitoring, but it is what we do to keep things going.
