Kalakonda Mariyamma

I've been here in Adavidevulapally for a while now. Most people know the house at 5-22/A near Harijana Bazaar. It is just a regular place where we get things done. Nalgonda district has its own rhythm and we just follow it. There isn't much to say about why we are here, other than this is where we live and work as Kalakonda Mariyamma. Some days are slow and others are a bit more active. You see the same faces walking through the bazaar every morning. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we usually take a break then. We handle what comes our way. It’s not like those big companies in the cities with fancy lobbies. It’s just us in this part of Telangana. We've got the 508207 pin code if you're sending anything by post. The neighbors are good people and we all look out for each other. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out. Life moves along at its own pace here. We don't have a big sign or anything. Just the door and the work we do inside. People usually just drop by if they need something. It’s been this way for years and we don’t expect it to change much. Just a simple setup in Harijana Bazaar, nothing more and nothing less. We keep the place tidy as well as we can. It works for us. We drink our tea in the mornings and get started with whatever is on the list.
