Gundepangu Venkatamma

This is the place of Gundepangu Venkatamma in Choutapally village. Our house is number 5-94 and we are part of the Mattampally mandal. It’s a small, quiet spot in the district where everyone knows their neighbors. We don’t have a big shop with glass windows or anything like that. Most of our business happens right here at the house or out in the village. It is a very simple way of working that doesn’t require a lot of fancy tools. We handle local tasks and whatever trade comes our way in this part of the country. Life in Choutapally is mostly about the seasons and the daily chores. We aren't a large corporation with managers; it’s just us doing what needs to be done. If you are looking for us, just head into the village and anyone can point you toward the house. We keep a notebook for our records and don't use computers much. It’s an honest living and we have been doing it this way for many years. Sometimes we sit outside and talk to people who pass by while we work. The pace is slow but the work gets finished. It’s just how things are in a small village like ours. We don’t need much else to keep things going. It’s a practical way to live and work without any fuss or complicated systems.
