P W D Chhattisgarh

This is the P W D office for Chhattisgarh, located in Ambikapur near Gandhinagar. Being a public works department, we handle a lot of the local infrastructure projects that keep the region running. Our address is 497001, and if you’ve lived around here, you probably know the building. It’s a government office, so expect a lot of files, old wooden desks, and people coming in and out with blueprints or maintenance requests. We deal with roads, bridges, and public buildings throughout the district. It isn't always fast-paced, but there is always something that needs fixing or a project that is currently in progress. The staff here are mostly locals who understand the geography of Ambikapur and the surrounding areas. We spend a good chunk of our time out in the field inspecting sites, while the rest is spent here in Gandhinagar doing the administrative part of the job. It’s a lot of coordination between different teams and contractors. We don't have a marketing department because we aren't selling anything. We are just here to manage the public assets.
