Our main setup is located in Vakhatpar Village. It’s part of the Sayla Taluka in Surendranagar. Being out here means we have a lot of space, which is necessary for the kind of engineering work we do. Sadbhav Engineering Limited has been around this district for quite some time. It's not like working in a big town. Here, you have to be self-reliant. If a machine breaks, you fix it yourself. We have a lot of staff from the nearby villages who walk or bike in. The post office is nearby, which is handy for the paperwork we still do by hand. The sun gets really hot in this part of Gujarat. We start early to beat the heat. Most of our day is spent managing projects and making sure the equipment is running right. We don't have a glossy brochure or a big marketing team. We just have our reputation in the village and the surrounding taluka. It’s a rugged kind of life. There’s dirt on our boots and grease on the tables. But the work gets done and the roads or structures get built. We take things one day at a time. It’s a quiet life when the engines aren't running. We like it that way. Just steady work and local people making things happen.
