Our place is at 3 Kumbharpara. It is a fairly old part of the area. We work with different types of machinery here. The workshop is not very big, so we have to be careful about how we move things around. There is a lot of heavy lifting and metalwork involved. Most of the time, the floor is covered in metal shavings or oil. We have a few lathes and drills that we use every day. It is not a modern, high-tech factory; it is more of a traditional machine shop where experience matters more than fancy gadgets. We have been at this address for years and know all the neighbors. The work can be physically demanding and it gets quite loud when everyone is working at once. We do not have a dedicated sales team or anyone in suits. If you come by, you will just see us in our work clothes, probably fixing a motor or welding a frame. We take our time to make sure things are built solid. It is a simple business model: we make the machines, and people buy them. Kumbharpara can be a bit tricky to navigate if you are not from around here. The streets are narrow and usually crowded. We have to be smart about how we bring in raw materials so we do not block the road. There is a specific smell in the shop—a mix of cutting oil and hot metal—that never really goes away.
