Chintan Textile Industries

We have been working out of Sardar Society for quite a while now. Our spot is at 29-30, and it’s usually packed with rolls of different fabrics. Most days, the sound of the machines is the only thing you hear. We started this because we knew the textile trade from our parents. It isn’t a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just a place where we get the stitching and the cutting done. Sometimes the floor is covered in thread and scraps, but we clean it up every Saturday. People around here know us as the place to go when they need basic textile work. We don't have a big team, just a few local guys who know how to handle the material. The weather gets hot in the summers, so we keep the big fans going all day. We mostly do cotton goods because that is what people want. There’s no big secret to what we do. We just take the orders, finish the pieces, and send them out. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to fix it ourselves. It keeps us on our toes. We don't use any high-tech systems here. We just write everything down in a big ledger. It’s been working fine for years. We like being part of the local community. It’s a quiet life, mostly, just focusing on the cloth and making sure the counts are right. It keeps our hands busy.
