Champkraft Machine Tools is located on Road No. 26, specifically at Plot No. 1915-16 in Phase-Iv of G.I.D.C. Wadhwancity. It’s a big name for a place that really just focuses on getting machine work done right. The area here is full of other factories, so there’s always a lot of movement. Trucks coming in and out, the sound of heavy machinery next door, it’s all part of the day. We’ve got two plots combined now, which gives us a bit more breathing room than we used to have. Most of the guys have been with us for five or ten years, so they know exactly where everything is kept. We aren't big on fancy slogans. We just look at the drawings people bring in and see how we can make the parts. The floor is concrete and stained with oil, which shows how much work goes on here every week. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out, but mostly we stick to a regular schedule. It gets quite bright in the afternoons with the sun hitting the metal sheets on the roof. We try to keep things organized, but in a busy machine shop, things have a way of moving around. We just focus on the task at hand and try not to overcomplicate things. That’s how we’ve always done it at Wadhwancity. We just like to get the work finished.
