Zalac Engineering Co.

Zalac Engineering Co. is located at Plot No. 234 on Road No: 6/E in the Udyognagar area of Udhna. It is a busy corner of the world with trucks moving in and out all day long. Our workshop floor is always covered in different projects, some small and some quite large. We have been at this location for a long time, and the building shows its age a little bit, but the equipment inside is kept in good working order. The morning starts with opening the heavy shutters and letting the light into the workspace. We don't have any air conditioning, so we rely on the breeze coming through the open doors. Most of the staff lives nearby and they have been with us since they were young men. We do a lot of turning and milling work for the local industries. It is not the kind of place where you wear a clean shirt. You are going to get grease on your hands if you stay for more than five minutes. We keep a ledger on the wooden desk near the entrance to track everything. There is no computer system here, just pens and paper and a lot of memory. We just take it one order at a time and try to keep our heads down. It is just how things are done here in Udhna. Our daily routine is mostly the sound of the machines and the smell of oil.
