Neon Lace

You can find us at Neon Lace, which is shop G-09 inside the Palladium Mall. We are pretty close to Swastik Plaza and Apple Square, right on that road between Yogi Chowk and Kargil Chowk. It’s a bit of a mouthful to explain the location, but once you’re in the mall, we aren’t too hard to spot. We mostly deal with laces and trimmings for clothes. The shop is small, and every inch of the walls is covered in different colors and patterns. It looks a bit like a rainbow exploded in here sometimes. We spend our days measuring out lengths of lace and helping people match colors for their dresses or craft projects. The mall gets quite busy on the weekends, but during the week, it’s a bit more relaxed, and we get to talk to our regulars. We started this because we liked the detail work that goes into textiles. It’s not a big corporate operation; it’s just a few of us who like what we do. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just try to keep a good variety of stuff on the shelves so people can find what they need for their sewing. It’s a lot of manual work, winding rolls and checking stock, but it keeps us busy and we enjoy the neighborhood. We just hope people find the exact lace they are looking for.
