Global Impex

Our place is on the 7th floor of the World Trade Center on Ring Road. The office number is 7012. Being in the WTC sounds a bit more grand than it actually feels when you’re there every day. It’s a tall building and the elevators can be a real wait during the lunch hour or when everyone is arriving in the morning. From our windows, we can see the traffic on Ring Road, which is almost always jammed with cars and bikes. Global Impex has been here for some time now. We handle a lot of different import and export tasks from this office. It’s a busy environment because the whole building is full of other businesses doing similar things. We have a few desks and a lot of folders. The air conditioning is usually running full blast because it gets quite hot in Surat. We don’t really do anything flashy. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or checking on customs regulations. It’s a lot of sitting at computers and making sure the details are right. Ring Road is a good location because it’s the heart of the commercial district here, but the noise never really stops. We like the energy of the area, even if it’s a bit chaotic. We just focus on our specific tasks and try to stay organized amidst all the paperwork and phone calls that come through.
