You can find us at No.B-2 in the Daruwala Building. We are located right across from the Mission Hospital in Athwalines. Western India Book Corporation is not some giant warehouse or a fancy showroom; it is just our space where we keep our collection of books. Being in Athwalines, we get a lot of people passing by on their way to the hospital or just moving through the neighborhood. The Daruwala Building is an old landmark that most people around here know well. Our shop is tucked inside, filled with rows of books that seem to grow every single month. We are not much for fancy displays or modern lighting. It is mostly just shelves and piles of books that we need to sort through. We spend our days answering the phone and checking what we have in stock for people. Sometimes it is very quiet, and other times three or four people walk in at once asking for the same thing. We do not have a marketing team or a polished corporate image. We are just a local business doing what we have known for a long time. Dealing with books means dealing with a lot of heavy boxes and a bit of dust, but we do not mind it at all. It is a steady pace here at No.B-2. We see students, doctors from across the street, and just regular people looking for something to read. It is a practical setup for us, and we keep it that way.
