Mavlik Book Centre

You can find Mavlik Book Centre at Plot No-G/8 inside Jolly Plaza. We are located near the Girls Polytechnic and the Athwa Gates area. It's a good spot because of all the students nearby. The plaza itself is usually busy, and our shop is on the ground floor, which makes it easy to pop in. We carry a lot of stuff that students need, like stationery, guides, and regular books. The shop isn't very big, so we have to use every bit of wall space for shelving. It can get a bit cluttered when a new shipment comes in and we haven't had time to put everything away yet. We’ve been here for a few years now. The lighting in the back of the shop isn't great, but we’ve got a small desk at the front where we sit. We don’t really have a big staff, it’s mostly just a family thing. We open up in the morning before the colleges start and stay open until the evening rush is over. It’s a lot of standing around and helping people find specific pens or notebooks. We try to keep the popular items within reach near the counter. It's a simple shop with a lot of paper and ink. Sometimes the door sticks a bit in the rainy season, but that’s just how it is. We like being near Athwa Gates because there is always something happening outside.
