Visvona Foundation

We are located at 153 on the 1st floor of the Old GIDC area in Katargam. This part of Surat is very industrial, so there is always the sound of machinery and trucks moving in the background. Finding our office means walking up the stairs to the first floor. It is a plain building, much like the others in this industrial estate. Visvona Foundation is just based here among all the small factories and workshops. The air in Katargam usually smells like grease or metal, which is just how it is in this side of town. We have a simple setup with basic furniture and a few computers. It is not the kind of place where you come for the view, as we just see other factory roofs from our windows. Most of our neighbors are busy making things, and we are busy with our own work. The floor gets a bit dusty because of all the activity nearby, so we spend a lot of time cleaning up. We like being in Surat because everything moves so fast here. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. People just knock on the door and come in. It is a no-nonsense environment where we stay busy throughout the day. We usually grab lunch from one of the local stalls that the factory workers use. The GIDC lifestyle is very practical and grounded.
