If you look for us, we’re up on the second floor of Plot No 195, right across from the old Wintex Mill. The GIDC Estate in Pandesara is a busy place, always noisy with trucks and machines going all day long. Being the Pandesara Ind Co Op Society Ltd means we’ve got a lot of different people involved. It’s not always easy keeping everyone on the same page, but we manage somehow. The office isn't much to look at, just desks and a lot of paperwork piled up from the various industrial units nearby. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the small details that keep the local businesses running. It’s gritty work, nothing like what you see in movies about big business. The elevator sometimes acts up, so most of us just take the stairs. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we have some fans going. Being in the heart of the estate means we’re right where the action is. We know most of the people around here by name. It’s a tight-knit group of workers and owners trying to make things work in a tough economy. We don’t do much advertising because everyone around Pandesara - 394 221 Dist: already knows where to find us if they need help with cooperative matters. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily grind as it comes. It's a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. Our door is usually open for anyone who needs to drop off files.
