Sigma Imex

Sigma Imex is located in the New Bombay Market in Umarwada. If you’ve ever walked through that market, you know it’s a total maze of people and goods. Our space is tucked away in there, and it’s about as simple as an office can get. There’s no room for extra fluff when you’re in a market like this. We spend our days right in the middle of all the trading activity, which is both good and a bit tiring. The noise never really stops until the market closes for the day. We handle a lot of the logistical side of things, making sure the imex side of the business stays moving. It’s a lot of checking on inventory and talking to other traders. We aren't trying to look like a high-end firm; we are just market people who know how to handle the import and export rules. The office is often full of samples or stacks of paperwork that need to be filed. Umarwada is the kind of place where you have to be present and active if you want to get things done. We don’t have a big management structure. It’s just us doing the work every day, dealing with the heat and the crowds, and making sure our part of the trade goes smoothly. It is a bit loud but it works for us.
