Shankheshwar Computer And Spoken English Institute

We run the Shankheshwar Computer and Spoken English Institute over in Umarwada. You can find us at Shop Number 1 and 2 in the Deepkamal Apartment building, which is right across from the Old Bombay Market on Varachha Road. It’s a very busy area, so there’s always a lot of noise from the market and the traffic outside. We have a few rooms set up with computers where students can practice, and a small space for the English classes. It’s not a huge fancy college, just a place for people who want to pick up some new skills to get a better job or just feel more confident. We see all kinds of students, from young kids to adults who never got the chance to learn computers before. Sometimes the internet acts up or a computer needs fixing, which keeps us on our toes. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed because learning a new language or how to use software can be intimidating for some. The walls are covered with some old posters and schedules. We don’t have a big marketing budget; mostly, people hear about us from their friends or neighbors who took a class here. We’re usually there from morning until quite late in the evening to accommodate everyone’s work schedules. If you’re passing by the Old Bombay Market, you’ll see our sign. It’s a humble place, but we enjoy teaching here. It makes a difference in people's lives.
