Thakkar Samir

I work out of room 402 in Tirupati Plaza, which is situated in the Athwalines area of Gandhi Nagar. It’s a decent-sized building, and being on the fourth floor gives a bit of a view of the street below, though it’s mostly just roofs and trees. Thakkar Samir is just a small operation here. The office isn't very big, but it fits everything I need to get through the day. I've got my desk, a couple of chairs for anyone who stops by, and a shelf full of old books and folders that have been there for years. Gandhi Nagar is a pretty active part of town, so there is always something happening outside near the shops. Tirupati Plaza has its own rhythm, with people in the other offices doing their own things and chatting in the hallways. Most days are pretty quiet inside my room, though. I usually get in early to beat the heat and stay until the evening shadows grow long. The walls are a bit plain, but that’s fine because I’m mostly looking at my papers anyway. It’s a simple setup for a simple day. I don't go in for all that corporate talk or anything like that. This is just where I do my business and spend my time. Sometimes the elevator in the plaza is a bit temperamental, so I end up taking the stairs. It keeps me moving, I guess. There is a tea stall just around the corner that I visit once or twice a day when I need to clear my head. It's just a regular office in a regular building.
