System Engineer

We've been over here at 8 Navjivan Society for a while now. It’s right by Dabholi Char Rasta on Ved Road. Being in Surat means we see a lot of people coming through with all sorts of technical questions or broken parts. We mostly just keep our heads down and get the work done. It isn't a fancy office, but it works for us. Mostly it's just about fixing things and making sure people can get back to their day. Some days are busier than others, especially when the weather gets hot and the equipment starts acting up. We try to be fair and just explain what’s going on without a bunch of jargon. My cousin used to help out here too, but now it’s just a small crew. We've got our tools set up just how we like them. Sometimes people find us because they live in the neighborhood, and other times they drive across town. It’s a good spot because the tea stall nearby is decent. We don’t really do much advertising. Most people just walk in or call if they heard about us from a neighbor. It’s a bit cramped with all the spare parts lying around, but we know where everything is. If you're looking for us, look for the sign near the society gate. We’re usually here until early evening unless we have to go out for a site visit. That's pretty much how we run things here in Surat.
