Swastik Home Automation

Our shop, Swastik Home Automation, is located in Ashoka Pavilion, right on New Civil Road. If you know where the Kapadia Health Club is, we are pretty much directly across from it on Bhatar Road. It’s a decent spot, though traffic can be a real headache during the rush hour. We spend most of our time figuring out how to make home gadgets talk to each other. People come in looking for ways to control their lights or curtains from their phones. It sounds complicated but once you get the hang of it, it’s just another piece of hardware. We started small and stayed that way because we like knowing everyone who walks through the door. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep the stock and test out new remotes and sensors. Sometimes the tech doesn't work right the first time and we have to sit there scratching our heads until we find the fix. That’s just part of the job. Most of the work happens at people’s houses anyway, so the shop is more like a home base for us. We drink a lot of coffee and talk about the latest bits of gear that come in. It’s a living. We don't have a big corporate team, just a couple of guys who know their way around a circuit board and a Wi-Fi router. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors know us by name now.
