Sureka Rajan

You can find Sureka Rajan over at B/904 in the Vaishali Flats. It is a well-known residential area here in Surat, and we are right near L B Cinema. Most locals use the cinema as a landmark when they are coming to see us for the first time. Being in an apartment block like Vaishali Flats makes the work environment feel a bit more relaxed than a cold office building. We have a decent view from the 9th floor, and it’s usually quieter up here than down on the street level. We’ve set up our workspace to be functional. There are shelves for our records and a couple of tables where we sit. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is out of order, but that doesn't happen too often. We have a routine that we stick to every day. We open up in the morning, check our messages, and get to work. The neighbors are mostly families, so you hear the sounds of daily life in the hallway sometimes. It feels more personal this way. We don't have a big reception desk or a waiting room with magazines. If someone comes by, they just pull up a chair. It works for us. We’ve been in this spot for a good while and like the convenience of the location. There is always something happening near the cinema, so there's plenty of life around. It feels like a good place to spend our day.
