Sumit More is our business name and we are based at Raj Siddhhi Apartment, which is right by the Vesu Silk Dom Market Chowk Bazar. If you’ve ever been to Chowk Bazar, you know how crowded and lively it can get. It’s the heart of the textile area, and we are right in the middle of it. Our space in the apartment building is where we handle all our fabric and silk business. It isn't a typical shop with a big glass window. It’s more of a workspace where we keep our samples and meet with people who are looking for specific types of silk. We spend a lot of time looking at different weaves and checking the quality of the thread. The light in the room is important because we need to see the colors clearly. Sometimes the apartment gets a bit cramped when new shipments arrive, and we have to move things around just to walk. Being near the Silk Dom Market means there is always something going on outside, with rickshaws and delivery carts constantly moving past. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and we’ve seen the market grow and change. We keep things pretty informal here. People come in, we show them what we have, and we talk about the price. There’s no pressure or corporate sales talk. It’s just about the fabric and making sure it’s what the customer wants for their project in the silk trade.
