Steamhouse Welfare Foundation

We are located at Plot No. 8108/1, Road No. 2, in the GIDC area of Sachin, Surat. It’s the same spot where a lot of heavy work goes on every day. Being in an industrial hub like Sachin means we see the real side of life. People here work long hours and the environment is quite demanding. We set up this welfare foundation to focus on the well-being of the local community and the workers. We aren’t some distant charity. We are right here on the ground. Our space is plain and simple. We don't have any fancy art on the walls or expensive carpets. It’s just a place to get work done. We talk to people on the road, in the shops, and at the factory gates. We listen to what they need instead of assuming we already know. It’s a slow process sometimes, but it’s the only way to do it right. We don’t use any marketing tricks to get attention. We just do what we can with the resources we have. Sometimes it’s a lot, sometimes it’s a little. We don’t make excuses. We just show up every morning and see what can be improved. It’s hard work, but it’s worth it when you see things actually changing for the better. We’re just a bunch of folks from Surat trying to make our area a bit better for everyone who lives and works in this district.
