Ssln Temple Foundation

We are based out of Bhaliyajhar, running the Ssln Temple Foundation from Prakash Chandra Pandi’s place. It’s a bit of a local effort here. We don’t have a massive office building or anything like that. Most of what we do revolves around the temple activities and looking after things in our small corner of the world. It’s a quiet life in Bhaliyajhar, and we like it that way. If you’re looking for us, just ask around for the Pandi household; most people know where it is. We spend our time making sure the foundation’s work gets done, whether that’s organizing events or just keeping the place tidy. There isn't any corporate structure here, just a few of us who care about the temple and the community. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but we manage. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a simple foundation doing what foundations do in small towns. We don’t have a website with a bunch of promises. We just have our daily tasks and the people who come by to help or visit. It’s practical work, and we do it because it needs doing. The post office is a bit of a walk from here, but we make it work. It’s just us here, doing our bit for the local area and the temple. We don't have big budgets or anything, just a lot of heart and time.
