Software Engineer

I have been operating as a software engineer out of my flat here in Surat for a good while. It is located at B/307 in the Dhanpal Flats, which is pretty close to Jeevan Sarita on Bhatar Road. If you know the area, it is a fairly busy part of town but inside the flat it stays quiet enough to get some real work done. I do not have a big staff or a flashy storefront because I spend most of my time just sitting at my desk dealing with code and logic. It is just me here. The setup is simple with a couple of monitors and a lot of coffee mugs that usually need cleaning. I started doing this because I liked solving problems on the computer, and it just turned into my daily job. Sometimes the heat in Surat gets a bit much, especially in the afternoons, but the fan keeps things moving. I handle various programming tasks for local clients and some others further away. It is not always exciting, mostly just debugging things that are broken or trying to figure out why a script won’t run right. I don't really have a big corporate philosophy or anything like that. I just try to finish the work I start and keep my head down. Living and working in the same space at Dhanpal Flats means my commute is about ten seconds, which is nice. It is just a regular life of an engineer trying to make things work from home.
