We are located on the 4th floor of Silver Stone Arcade in Surat. It’s office 432, right in the middle of a very busy part of the city. Being in an arcade is interesting because there are so many different types of businesses all around us. You see all kinds of people in the elevators. Sometimes the lift takes forever, so we just end up taking the stairs, which is quite a workout when you’re headed to the fourth floor. Sig Nextgen Technologies isn't a massive operation with hundreds of employees. We’re a smaller team and we like it that way because we can actually talk to each other without sending ten emails first. The office has big windows, so we get a good view of the street below. It can get pretty hot in Surat, so our AC is almost always running at full blast. We’ve got some plants on the window sills, but honestly, we forget to water them most of the time. There is a lot of traffic noise from the city, but you get used to it after a week or two. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake and usually have some snacks sitting around on the communal table. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that. It’s just a bunch of regular people trying to build things and make stuff work. It's nothing fancy, just our workplace.
