Shukan Mobile

If you head down Salabatpura Anil Road, you will find Shukan Mobile. It is a modest little shop, really just a single room with enough space for a counter and a few people to stand. We focus on phones and the small things that go with them. The walls are covered in displays of headsets and memory cards. It is often just one of us here at a time, keeping an eye on the street. We get a lot of people coming in from the nearby houses. Most of them are looking for a quick fix or a cheap replacement for a lost charger. We do not have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just open up in the morning and stay until late at night. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and leaks a little near the front door, so we have to keep the mops ready. It is the kind of place where you can just stop by and ask a question without feeling pressured to buy. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass on the displays because fingerprints show up so easily. It is a quiet kind of work, mostly. We like the neighborhood and the people who live around here. There is no rush to grow into some huge company. We are happy just being the local spot on Anil Road where people can get their phones looked at.
