Shreeji Earthmovers

Our office is at Plot No.- L-4 in New Ashirwad Square. It’s right on U. M. Road, near the Sosyo Circle and just opposite the City Centre. Being in this part of Surat means there’s always something being built or dug up nearby. We deal with earthmoving machines—the big stuff like backhoes and excavators. It’s a lot to manage because these machines are expensive and they need a lot of attention to keep running. Most of our time is spent on the phone coordinating where the equipment needs to go or talking to the operators out in the field. The office at Ashirwad Square is where we keep the keys and the maintenance records. It’s a busy spot, and finding parking can be a real headache sometimes. We have a lot of people dropping by, mostly contractors who need to move some dirt or clear a plot of land. We try to keep things simple. There’s no big mission statement on the wall, just a calendar and some photos of the machines at various job sites. It’s often loud outside with the city traffic, and inside it’s usually the sound of the AC trying to fight off the Surat heat. We’ve been doing this for a while now, and we’ve seen the city change a lot from this window. Most days we are just glad when the rain doesn't stall the work and the machines stay out of the mud.
