Shree Sai Parcel Service

We are tucked away at the backside of Millenium Textile, near the corner of Ring Road and Vasta Devdi Road. Shree Sai Parcel Service is always a bit chaotic because of all the fabric and textile bundles moving around this area. My job is to make sure these parcels get loaded onto the right trucks and sent to the right cities. It’s a lot of physical work, moving heavy bags and boxes around the loading dock. The area around Millenium Textile is always crowded with rickshaws and laborers, so there is never a quiet moment. I start early, usually before the sun is fully up, to get the first batch of deliveries ready. We use a lot of tape and markers to label everything clearly. Sometimes the weather is a problem, especially when it rains and we have to keep all the parcels dry under plastic sheets. It’s not a polished corporate office. It’s a working warehouse where things happen fast. I spend a lot of my time shouting to be heard over the noise of the traffic and the engines. We handle stuff for small businesses and big traders alike. Every day is a bit different depending on how much cargo arrives. I try to keep things organized, but when fifty new parcels show up at once, you just have to dive in and start moving them. It’s tiring but it keeps me moving.
