Shree Dev Narayan Kirana

Shree Dev Narayan Kirana is over in the Udhna area. We have our shop set up in the Dharmyug Cooperative Housing society. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it stays pretty local. A good landmark to find us is Madhi Ni Khamni, which is a popular spot nearby. Most of our customers are just the people who live in the apartments around us. They come in for the small stuff—maybe a packet of biscuits, some soap, or some milk in the morning. The shop is quite small, so we have to be clever about how we stack the boxes. Sometimes things are piled almost to the ceiling. We don't have a big staff, it’s usually just one or two of us at the counter. The atmosphere is very casual. We often know what a customer wants before they even say it because they buy the same things every week. In the evenings, the area gets a bit more lively as people come home from work and stop in for a few things. We don't have fancy lighting or expensive signs. It’s just a regular local kirana store that serves the housing society. We’ve been in Udhna for a bit now and we like the pace of things here. It’s not as crazy as the main market, and we get to actually talk to the people who shop with us. It’s a simple life running a shop like this, and we like it.
