Shivkumar Garg Charitable Foundation

We are located up on the fifth floor of the Sai Darshan Textile Market in Umarwada. If you know the market, you know it gets really crowded and loud with all the trucks and people moving cloth around. Our shop, 513, is tucked away in Part-B of the floor. It’s a modest space, mostly filled with files and a few desks. We’ve been here for a while now, doing what we can for the community through the Shivkumar Garg name. Being in the middle of a textile hub means we see a lot of working-class people every day. We try to help out where we can, whether it's small donations or just helping someone navigate some paperwork they don't understand. It’s not glamorous work and the hallway outside can be a bit dusty from all the fabric bits, but it’s where we belong. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertising. People usually find us by word of mouth or because they work in the market themselves. Some days it’s just one person here taking care of things. We focus on the practical side of charity, just giving a hand to those who are struggling a bit. It’s a simple setup, nothing more than what’s necessary to keep the foundation running properly. If you come by, just look for the sign near the back of the fifth floor.
