Shalini'S Boutique

Shalini'S Boutique is situated at Shop No. 5 on the ground floor of the Maharaja Chamber. We are right opposite the Maharaja Cinema on Ring Road. Being so close to the cinema means there is always a lot of energy and people around, especially in the evenings when a big movie is playing. The Ring Road traffic is constant, but inside the ground floor of the chamber, it is a bit more managed. Our shop is small but we use every inch of the walls for display. We have a big mirror in the back that makes the place feel a little larger than it actually is. Most of the time, it is just us chatting with whoever walks in or fixing a hem on a garment. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few local people who know how to sew and handle customers. The Maharaja Chamber is an older building with a lot of character. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or the front door squeaks, but we just deal with it. We like the location because it is easy for people to find us since everyone knows where the cinema is. On weekends, it gets very crowded and we barely have time to sit down. We usually keep some snacks in the drawer for those long shifts. It is a busy life but we enjoy being right in the middle of all the action.
