Satnam Jari

We are over at Plot No. 82-83 in Kabir Wadi, which is right on A.K. Road. If you know the area, Satnam Jari is basically in the Gothan Industrial Estate. It is pretty easy to find because we are directly opposite Himson Mil, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. The traffic on A.K. Road can be a bit of a nightmare during the rush hours, so we usually try to get in before the sun gets too high. Our space is spread across two plots, 82 and 83, so there is enough room for us to move around while we work. It’s not a quiet place by any means. You can hear the sounds of the industrial estate all day long, from machines humming to people shouting across the way. We’ve grown used to the noise over the years. Kabir Wadi has its own vibe, very industrial and straightforward. Most of the people here are just trying to get through their shift and go home to their families. We drink our tea, talk about the news, and keep the work flowing at Satnam Jari. It’s a practical environment. We don’t have a big reception area or anything like that. People just walk in when they need something, and we talk to them right there on the floor. It feels like home to us, even with all the dust and the heat from the street.
