If you are coming from the Kapodra side, you will see the building as soon as you cross over. It’s a pretty busy area of Surat with a lot of shops and people moving about. We handle things related to studying and moving to different places. It involves a lot of looking at passports and school certificates. Our desks are usually covered in files and folders. The office has a few windows that let in some light, but we mostly rely on the overhead tubes. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small team of us here. We spend our mornings checking emails and our afternoons meeting with people who have questions about their paperwork. The bridge outside makes it noisy, but we are used to the sound of the traffic by now. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a short break. It’s a straightforward kind of work. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just some plastic chairs for people to sit on while they wait their turn.
