Samprati Foundation

Our foundation is located at G2, Siddhanchal Residency. We are right opposite Makanji Park in the Adajan area of Surat. Having the park across the street is nice because it is one of the few green spots around here. We are the Samprati Foundation. We chose this ground floor spot because it is easy for elderly people and kids to come in without having to deal with stairs. We have been here for a few years and the neighbors have been very kind to us. Our work is basically whatever the community needs at the time. We do not have a set list of services. We just listen to what people say when they drop by. The office is just a couple of rooms with some old fans that squeak a bit. It is not a corporate environment at all. We spend a lot of time just chatting with people who are sitting in Makanji Park. We do not have a marketing budget or any fancy brochures. We just rely on people talking to each other. Adajan is a busy place and life moves fast here, so we try to provide a spot where things can slow down a bit. We are just a small team of local people who want to help out. Some days we feel like we aren't doing enough, but then someone says thanks and it feels okay again. That is just our daily life here in Surat. We are just doing what we can and hoping for the best.
